This service allows your prescription to be sent electronically from your GP to your pharmacy. To allow us to go ahead with this we require your consent to this and ask that you contact your pharmacy to let them know as well, so we can record your approval on the system. If you let the pharmacy know when you collect this current prescription, your next repeat prescription can be sent electronically and you can start benefiting from this service when you require your next prescription.
Benefits: You no longer have to attend your surgery to collect the repeat paper prescription. You may order your medication here, in the usual way, and then call to the pharmacy after 48 hours to collect your medicine which will be prepared for you in advance.
It is more convenient and time saving for you.

Written Requests in Person, by Post or Fax
You can make your request in writing and put it in the prescription request box at the reception desk. Alternatively you may post your request to us or send it to us by fax. Addresses and fax numbers can be found on our Contact Us page.
You should include your name, date of birth and the item(s) you require. We also ask that you indicate where you would like to collect your prescription from. Please ensure that your request is clearly legible: If we cannot read your request, we cannot process it.
Please note that we do not accept prescription requests over the telephone.
Via a Local Pharmacy
You may also be able to request your repeat prescriptions via your local pharmacy. Ask at the pharmacy whether they are able to offer you this service. If so, you can then submit your request to them via telephone or in person, and they will pass on your request to us.
